Deacons & Deaconesses Committee

The Deacons and Deaconesses are responsible for creating a worshipful environment for religious services in cooperation with the Minister. This means the D&D's must ensure that all the many components of Sunday morning services are being addressed and that all these components together enhance the quality of our congregation's worship experience. We take this mission very seriously and believe that our efforts do make a significant difference in the life of the church.

The committee has successfully coordinated ushers and greeters for every service in the sanctuary and made sure we have proper lighting, sound system, flowers, music, quiet time, joys and concerns, guest and lay led services. It is always a challenge to recruit ushers and greeters each week but we usually try to encourage people who have never done it before to participate. Our vision is to make sure that we continue to provide a quality worshipful environment for all to enjoy.
